Branch Office Overview

The jurisdiction of the Taichung Branch includes the Da’an River Working Circle (Compartments 61 to 131), the Basianshan Working Circle (Compartments 1 to 174), and the Dajia River Working Circle (Compartments 1 to 85), comprising a total of 330 compartments and covering an area of 138,725.64 hectares. These lands are located in the districts of Heping, Dongshi, Shigang, Xinshe, Fengyuan, Beitun, Taiping, and Houli in Taichung City; Tai’an Township in Miaoli County; Datong Township in Yilan County; and Ren’ai Township in Nantou County, with the majority situated in Taichung City.

Outside the designated working circles, the Branch manages 3,864.59 hectares of protected forests and 2,804.09 hectares of forestry land transferred from the former National Property Administration, both located within Taichung City.
