Conservation Blueprint

The National Ecological Conservation Green Network blueprint was developed by integrating ecological survey data, habitat conditions, landscape information, local concerns, and expert opinions collected over past years. This comprehensive process identified biodiversity hotspots, key Satoyama landscapes, and priority aquatic areas across Taiwan, leading to the designation of 44 National Ecological Conservation Green Network Priority Areas. To support habitat restoration and enhance ecological connectivity, 45 regional conservation corridors were established. These corridors are categorized into five groups based on primary habitat types: hilly, riverine, plain, coastal, and offshore island.
