Introduction

Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area ranges in altitude from 110 to 650 meters, enjoying a warm and humid climate year-round. The park boasts a diverse array of flora and fauna, with major attractions including a century-old banyan tree, a century-old sorrel vine, and the Zhiben Herb Garden. The recreation area is ideal for ecotourism, forest therapy, family activities, and nighttime observation. In recent years, the park has continuously improved its trail system and wood-based experiential facilities, and launched the Zhiben fragrance series, extending beautiful forest memories into everyday life. Open a window, and embark on a journey through the beauty of the forest! In 2024, a renovation project was launched for the store space, introducing a new 6-meter-long panoramic window, allowing visitors to "gaze upon the entire forest" from the store, offering unobstructed views of the refreshing mountain scenery and waterfalls. They've also created the first "Forest Made" brand concept store in eastern Taiwan—「FOREST MADE」X「Hoob Zhiben Store」—focusing on nature conservation and sustainable development. This innovative approach to operating a forest recreation space connects the public with the forest ecosystem, creating diverse service value. The store's interior design utilizes domestically produced materials and features a curated selection of local Taitung mountain village cuisine, specialty crafts, mountain reading materials, and products showcasing Taitung's botanical landscapes and outdoor lifestyle items. Stepping into the space feels like entering the Zhiben Forest, allowing visitors to experience the beauty of Taiwan's forests.
