Cyuantoumu Trail

Standing over 300m above sea level, Quantoumu Mountain is located in the Tiansongpi area in Sanxing Township, Yilan County. A round trip takes about 2 hours. The walk is easy because of the gentle gradient of the trail which runs through a Formosan Michelia plantation. There are plenty of fern species and a large variety of plants that change color through the seasons and also provide a fine habitat for birds and small creatures. From the top of the mountain, one can see the Lanyang River and the Lanyang Plain lying at the bottom as well as the Central Mountain Range and the Snow Mountain Range in the distance.
