The Tefulan Trail is located behind the Tefulan Settlement in Songhe Settlement in Boai Village. The trail takes about 3 hours to walk and most sections are Taipower’s line maintenance road. Reconstruction was conducted along the collapsed wall on the southeast side of Dongmao Mountain. The Dajia River is to the east. On the way, one can see steep cliffs and fallen pieces of rock of different sizes. Now and then, there are large rocks in piles and it takes some effort by using both hands and legs to climb up. The stone steps built with materials taken from the vicinity look ancient. Giant large-leaf Machilus, Taiwan Zelkova and toog trees as well as thick vines can be seen along the way. These are the biggest features of the trail.
