The Chiananyun Peak is so named because it is located right at the location where Chiayi, Nantou and Yunlin Counties meet. Standing at 1,795 above sea level, it is the highest peak in Yunlin County. Seen from afar, the steep mountain seems to be soaring into the sky. From the summit, one can see the beautiful Jade Mountain Range. The trail goes up and down with the terrain and passes one after another precipitous cliff. The geology and topography are spectacular. Haowangjiao, in particular, is the most characteristic. There are two protruding triangular rocks with many ferns growing on them and below them is a precipitous cliff. When the weather is good, one can see far away and appreciate the magnificent cliffs. The giant subcostate crape myrtle trees and yellow basket-willow trees are also beautiful.
