The Fenrui Ancient Trail connects Fenqi Lake and Ruili, two celebrated scenic areas. In Qing Dynasty, it was the path taken by people carrying their products out to sell. Today, the ruins of wood-burning kilns, Yinyang Temple and the Shinto Shrine are still preserved. The trail starts from the redbrick steps in front of the train station, connects the ecological trail that surrounds the village and the mountain path leading to the giant trees, and then hooks up with the Fentai and Ruitai Ancient Trails. It runs through a thick virgin forest and moso bamboo groves. There are also clusters of soaring oak trees of different shapes.
