The gradient of the Tawu Guanhai Trail is low. It takes about 30 minutes to finish the walk with ease. The area has the nickname of “the back garden of Dawu Mountain.” It is not far from the ocean and visitors walking on the trail can hear the waves all the way. The trail overlooks the ocean and runs along the mountain. Standing at the Observation Pavilion, one can see the Pacific and the estuary of Dawu River at the bottom. The forests are mainly low-altitude broadleaf trees. There are instruction signs and nest boxes along the way to help visitors understand the ecology more while enjoy being in nature.
