Jinshuiying Ancient Trail (Forepart)

The Jinshuiying Ancient Trail starts from Fangliao in Pingtung County in the west and ends at Dawu in Taitung County in the east. It is about 47 kilometers long. It was originally a road to pacify the aborigines during the Qing Dynasty. Later, the western section of the ancient trail was replaced by the new Dahan Forest Trail. The entrance to the front section of the Jinshuiying Trail is close to the newly opened nursery. The end point is at 5.2K on the Dahan Forest Trail, where it connects to the path of today＇s Dahan Forest Trail.
