Jilongshan Trail

The Jilong (chicken cage) Mountain is one of the Guanling Mountains. It is so named because the top of the mountain looks like a chicken cage. The trail is about 2km in length. From a number of spots on the trail, the Chiayi-Tainan Plain can be seen clearly. A wooden pavilion stands at the summit and there are a lot of plum trees along the final section before the summit. When walking by the plum trees in early spring, one can smell a wonderful aroma from the snow-white flowers.
