The Sustainable Forest Management and Industrial Revitalization Plan aims to achieve national development goals by promoting sound forest land management, maintaining forest health, strengthening land conservation, advancing nature conservation, and facilitating the diversified use of forest resources. Accordingly, the following four subplans have been established: the “Sustainable Management and Utilization of Forest and Terrestrial Biodiversity Resource Subplan,” “Habitat and Wildlife Conservation Management Subplan,” “Integrated Mountain Treatment, Disaster Prevention, and Forest Road Maintenance in State-Owned Forest Subplan,” and “Long-term Monitoring of Forestry Management Experiment Subplan (Taiwan Forestry Research Institute).”
