The typhoon Hato hit, the Forestry Bureau appeal to people not to go to the mountains for your personal safety.

       The Mild typhoon, Hato, is approaching Taiwan, the Central Weather Bureau has posted the sea warning in the evening of August 20th, and expected to post the land warning approximately at noon on August 21th. The Forestry Bureau suggests people not doing mountain activities as far as possible during the period of typhoon strikes. Even it is a must, please check the opening status of the field, such as the National Forest Recreation Area, Nature Trail, etc., before you set off, and take travel time and the latest movement of typhoon into consideration. As for people who have already been active in the mountains, please go downhill as soon as possible under the premise of safe and secure.
