Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area, under the jurisdiction of Lou-Dong Forest District Office of Forestry Bureau, scheduled resuming service at 8 a.m. on Wednesday on October 18th, 2017. Influenced by the combined effects of the cloud system of Kanu typhoon and the northeast monsoon, the heavy rainfall hit and the surge of the Lan-Yang stream, it stroke the No. 7 line of the Niu-Dou Bridge section, causing traffic disruption. The Taiping Mountain has been warning and closed since October 14th, 2017, keeping the travel and tourism environment safe. The Highway Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communication is currently actively pursuing repairs and resumed one-way traffic at 17:00 on October 15th. The Lou-Dong Forest District Office also continued to invest in the inspection, maintenance, and restoration of the environment and facilities of the Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area. From 8 a.m. on October 18th, it resumed operations in Shaanxi.
