Did you know, if you download the environment protection Green Point app to your mobile phone, purchase green products, use public transport, or participate in environment protection activities, you can earn "Green Points", which can be used to exchange for green products or travel products? From March 4, 2019, collect Green Points on the Green Point app, and you can exchange the points for entry tickets to the 13 national forest recreation areas of the Forestry Bureau, as well as discount vouchers for travel products! Let us protect the environment together, collect Green Points and visit the forests! In order to encourage people to save energy and reduce their carbon footprint, the Forestry Bureau, in partnership with the Environmental Protection Administration, are promoting environmental protection activities. Entry tickets have been launched on the Green Point app for the national forest recreation areas of the Forestry Bureau, these areas include: Taipingshan, Manyueyuan, Neidong, Dongyanshan, Basianshan, Dasyueshan, Aowanda, Alishan, Kenting, Shuangliou, Jhihben, and Chihnan. Also available for exchange on the app include tickets for the Wulai Log Cart, as well as discount vouchers for Taipingshan Village, Dasyue Lodge, Songsyue Lodge, and Aowanda Resort Village. Members of the public simply have to purchase energy-saving appliances and green products, or use the public transport and collect "Green Points" on the app, then exchange the points for electronic discount vouchers for these national forest areas directly from the app. Go to the ticket counter or information desk of the national forest recreation areas, show the discount voucher in the app to the service personnel for scanning. Once the voucher has been successfully scanned, the app holder will have free entry to the national forest recreation area or a discount off their accommodation rate!
