FANCA Introduced PXPay Plus Mobile Payment for National Forest Recreation Areas, Making Ticket Purchases More Convenient as Well as Offering Discounts

To provide the public with [Ling1] more convenient and diverse ticketing services, the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency (FANCA) introduced the “PXPay Plus” mobile payment service at the national forest recreation areas under its jurisdiction starting from August 1, 2026. Visitors can use PXPay Plus to pay for tickets at onsite ticket booths and enjoy more convenient park entry. During the promotional event period until December 31, 2026, users can enjoy a PXPay Plus point rebate of up to 10%. Members of the public are invited to step into the forests and get closer to nature.

  The FANCA stated that it has been continuously rolling out smart tourism and digital services in recent years. Currently, it has successively introduced a variety of payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, EasyCard, iPass, LINE Pay, E.Sun Wallet, Pi Wallet, and JKOPAY, to the sites under its jurisdiction. The addition of PXPay Plus provides more diverse and convenient payment options for those who are accustomed to using electronic mobile payments, further enhancing the quality of recreational services and creating a friendly and convenient tourism environment.

  From August 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, the public can enjoy a 5% PXPay Plus point rebate on any single transaction at the sites under the jurisdiction of the FANCA. All they have to do is first register for the monthly “Top 100 Daily Picks” activity on the PXPay Plus app and then use PXPay Plus to make a payment. These national forest recreation areas include the 13 national forest recreation areas of Taipingshan, Neidong, Manyueyuan, Dongyanshan, Lalashan, Dasyueshan, Basianshan, Aowanda, Alishan, Kenting, Shuangliu, Chihnan, and Jhihben, as well as venues such as the Wulai Log Cart and Taipingshan Bong Bong Train. New users who use PXPay Plus for the first time will receive an additional 50 PXPay Plus points after completing eligible spending. In addition, when the PXPay Plus account is linked to a designated partner bank account or credit card, the user can also enjoy a bonus point rebate of up to 5%, with a total PXPay Plus point rebate of up to 10%. The public is encouraged to use mobile payment to conveniently purchase tickets and visit the forest recreation areas. The actual details of the offers, rebate methods, and eligibility for the promotion are subject to the event announcements of PXPay Plus.

  The FANCA noted that national forest recreation areas throughout Taiwan boast abundant forest landscapes, ecological resources, and well-developed recreational facilities, making them ideal destinations for people to get close to nature, relieve stress, and experience forest therapy. Whether strolling along forest trails, admiring waterfalls and rivers, observing wildlife, or being immersed in forest phytoncides and negative ions, visitors will get to experience complete relaxation of both mind and body.

  The FANCA also stated that it will continue to promote smart services and digital payment applications to create a more convenient and user-friendly forest tourism environment, provide the public with a high-quality recreational experience, and encourage more people to enter the forest and implement low-carbon sustainable tourism.
