Mt. Dongmao Trail

Dongmao Mountain is about 1,690m above sea level, ranking No. 5 among the Seven Heroes of Guguan. The trail is located on the north shore of the Dajia River. The first half was originally Taipower’s line maintenance road and the second half was built by the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency according to the direction of Dongmao Mountain. It zigzags up the mountain. Along the trail, the scenery is beautiful and the ecological resources are abundant. From the top the mountain, one can overlook the Dajia River and see the surrounding mountains in the distance. The trail is about 6.5km long. If the road from Dadao Public Temple to connect to the trail is included, the total length is 7.55km.
