The second shortest among the Seven Heroes of Guguan, Baimao Mountain stands at 1,522m above sea level on the south shore of the Dajia River. Although it is not the tallest, there are features that the other heroes don’t have. Secondary broadleaf forests form the most part of vegetation, but Japanese cedar plantations also cover a large area. The dense vegetation attracts many large mammals and birds to forage here. Along the trail, there are a few steep climbs. From the landslide area, one can overlook the Dajia River and the endless ridgeline.
